I’ve noticed on a few sites that Firefox seems to crash as soon as any Java is loaded or accessed.
This fixes the issue:
– Type about:config in the adressline
– Say yes to being cautious
– Type dom.ipc.plugins.java.enabled into the filterline
– Change the value to true, by doubleclicking the line
– Close the tab
– Restart firefox
