XBOX One – Copying KODI advancedsettings.xml from USB for library use etc.

By default you can’t use KODI’s file manager to transfer your advancedsettings.xml to your XBOX One as it only reads / recognises media files from USB drives.

The simple way to do this is to rename your advancedsettings.xml on your PC to advancedsettings.mp3, then copy it to a USB flash drive. Plug the flash drive into your XBOX one while KODI is running and you will now be able to see the file, copy it to the profile directory using KODI’s built in file manager. Now using your remote or controller rename the newly transferred file back to advancedsettings.xml.

Restart KODI and your good to go!
