To help reduce the number of email alerts Plesk 10 generates when CPU load occasionally increases, log into your Parallels Plesk panel and navigate to the “Health Monitoring” link and click on “Download Configuration File”. This will download an XML configuration file. Open it in the text editor of your choice and scroll down to the bottom of the file and search for the service being triggered, such as CPU and then edit the threshold levels:
Increase the alert thresholds from the default shown to a level of your choice. Save the file and then click the “Upload Configuration File” link in your Parallels Plesk panel to upload this new configuration file. The alerts should be triggered less frequently now.
